Level System
The level feature acts as the base of the game and is named ‘The Search’. Every time you collect win a spin you collect symbols. If you collect 10 then you advance to level 2, if you don’t win a spin then you lose symbols.
The Encounter & The Hive
‘The Encounter’ acts as level 2; here players must advance down a dark corridor and take out aliens and face-huggers. The symbols you collected from level 1 show up in this round as sticky symbols, allowing you to win on every spin and collect multipliers for level 3. ‘The Hive’ is the final level. Here you’ll face the Alien Queen and either kill her or be killed. The better the multipliers you gathered in level 2, the more chance you have of leaving with a big win. Kill the queen and you’ll be rewarded with an extra bonus of 240x your bet as well as all the other points you accumulated on your way to the hive.
Our verdict
Aliens is the epitome of an atmospheric and intense slot. It offers an advancement mode that is by no means easy but it is exceptionally rewarding if you’re willing to persevere. This means it might not be best suited for a casual player but there is plenty of fun to be had with it.
